little bits of my break.

so, after writing my "take a break" post, i took it very literally and took a somewhat extended break from this ole blog over here and my computer in general. i so needed that. so from last tuesday until today, i avoided the computer at all costs, read a book, watched a couple movies, played with my doggies, worked out a whole bunch, and basically just breathed easier for a little while, and occupied my time with other things. it was eehhsooo nice!

i even jammed out to this in my car, with the windows down, no embarrassment over here peeps and 80 degree weather, oh yeah! (and yes i am posting this video again, because, well, i don't care, i love it, and justin bieber and selena gomez).

since i left this blog hangin' for the past week, here's some photos to show proof that i was just takin' a break and totally enjoying life!

we celebrated greek easter this weekend and one of my little cousin's first communion. it was an awesome day in 80 degree weather! we had a whole gang to celebrate the day with between friends and family. with all of the food, hanging outside in the sun all day, basketball games, easter egg hunts, and of course the FLYERS game, it was the perfect Sunday.

i've created a clan of little flyers fans in my family. we all cram on the couch together/scream/jump up and down on the couch when the flyers score and it almost equals actually being at a game...well, almost. we watched the flyguys all week and now tonight! let's say bye to pittsburgh! oh yeah, if i didn't mention this previous, i have a super big love for the flyers. 

last but not least, photos from the past several warm summer-like days. summer days to me means jamming out in the car to super loud music, with the windows down, and hilarious photos like the one above. we were belting out ace of base at that moment. does it get better than that? i don't know what it is about the summer-time but i am instantly in a good/nostalgic mood when it comes. ah, can't wait for summer days. 

well, it was nice catching up! i promise i won't leave this blog hanging for a while again without notice. but it's good to be back : )
