i love the weekends, among other things.

i have a love/hate relationship with so many things. i hated today...this morning..but then loved it. i hate work when i'm driving there but then love it while i'm there, most of the time. i love and hate a lot of things but these few things i absolutely love, no questions asked....like the two sweet little things up top. they are some of my favorite people in this entire world. we had a super awesome dance party to "call me maybe" friday night with multiple failed attempts at making a music video of our superb skillz.

my little lola. even though she takes your spot once you get out of bed and does not budge for anything i still love her cuteness. she will cuddle with you all day long if you want her to. 

little puppies! i was at the pet store twice this weekend. saturday my mom and i stopped in to just hold all the puppies and then sadly left without taking one home, although we were tempted. david and i stopped in again today before we went out to dinner and held a bunch of puppies and planned which ones we were going to take home, one day! look at this little baby above! if i could have taken her home right then, i would have!

baking cupcakes! made more cupcakes this weekend for dessert on saturday night. red velvet with cream cheese icing and milk chocolate cupcakes with chocolate frosting. yum. 

sunday dinner! with david. grilled calamari and loads of pasta that we really didn't need but it was so delicious!

his attempts at braiding my hair. he's going to kill me for this one :)

my new nail art. what do ya think? i'm trying out the polka dots on the finger nails for the spring. i'm a little too excited for this! 

and last but definitely not least, hunger games! i finally went and saw it today and loved it. they did a pretty good job adapting the book to a movie. i love katniss and peeta. i cried in the movie, ah so good! i'm a totally hunger games nerd that i even identified myself on this fun website to see what district you would belong to and guess whaaaa....katniss is my homegirl! district 12 suckas :)

and then of course i identified david...poor guy...

haha, what a fun weekend. so many things to love.
